Thanks Rob, I will see if I can find the videos. Are the types of glues and primers for pla also somewhere on his site?

The video that I did for the Astute is by far the most comprehensive. It includes step-by-step for assembly, gluing, priming, painting and coating with epoxy.

Rob? Rob whom I met in Southern California?
If so, it was the Thunder Tiger Neptune that made a connection for me.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

O.K. - so you were not the one in SoCal, my memory is mixing things up. Rob, then I pray our paths cross. I enjoy your passion.

Well they are meant to be used in the water. Bathroom, steam, water, gives you something to focus on when your in there.

Got a little more building in! I put the hull together on my 3D printed Los Angeles and a first primer coat. I will be doing some internal work on the hull in order accommodate the 2.5" SD that I got from David M.

I also just received the fitting kit that David M. did for the Skipjack (awesome Kit) from Nautilus Drydocks, so now I can move along on the Skipjack!

I am also working on the Albacore, and I will get some photos of my progress on that boat. soon!

Good to hear. You definitely have a lot going on there. The LA is looking good! Sharp looking boat.

Rob what nice eye candy. One day I'll be able to build my type 23 but customers come first.

Awesome Rob! With the Redoutable does that make 6 subs total? That's a good fleet of boats.
