The Elite Fleet of Virginia is a scale electric boat club that meets throughout the year on Sunday mornings. We enjoy the use of a small lake at the corner of Gretna Road and Norwich Ave in Virginia Beach (find a map in the information sheet under the files section). We usually start to gather around 10 am and stay until we're too hot, too cold, or too tired! Every so often we try to get together for a night run as well, giving us a chance to try out all the various lights we've installed! https://www.facebook.com/groups/EliteFleetofVirginia/

Making a second hull as a static model in 1/32 scale as David will soon begin the CB small sub project. It also can allow me to make wood patterns for brass railings etc. that David may be able to use too. Making new torpedo tubes for holding the 18-inch torpedoes. Cutting off parts from the printed tubes and fashioning new ones.

Oh the colors? Th gray is a auto body supply store 'gray primer 2 in 1 transtar 4603' and the green boot topping is Rustolium 'Antique Teal'. A clear flat will dull down the green saturation mellowing it all out ok later. I will add that last after draft numbers and such are applied way down the road.

Not sure if it's just from the camera angle but the Type XXI stern looks too high at rest.

Thank you! It was nice to see Dennis, and to see that he is continuing his production of high-quality, teenie-tiny, easily transported, run-'em-in-the-tub kind of models!!! ;)
