"ALAGADO" means flooded, yes, but in Portuguese. In Spanish is "INUNDADO". About my attempt to upload SCORPENE pic, I couldn't because it weights "only" 260 Kb. Is there any way in the forum to upload such a picture? I think it's an interesting one because was taken very very near from the sub.

    Regards from Madrid.

There you go, much bigger. Thanks.

Hey, that's a sexy boat, I like the rake of the sail, the big fillet between sail and deck, and the extreme forward location of the fairwater planes. Neat boat!

October 1988. I was ans Spanish Merchant Marine cadet on my first trip to USA, and met these two fellows at Port Everglades. Knife - shaped bow is from USS STUMP. Imagine my camera by pictures' quality. There was an enormous US Marine sargent at the dock where the torps are been loaded (I'm only 1,67 metres "tall" and that marine seemed like a double sized wardrobe). I asked him if it was possible to take pictures. He answered: "This is a free country, of course you can". Submarine crew didn't seem to enjoy me taking pictures. In the second picture you can also see a USNS ship. Don't know if it's USNS REGULUS or USNS ALGOL, but is one of that series.
                      regards from Madrid.

ID:	61345 Good picture of an Oscar. If you look at the inset picture on the right you can see three men down inside the missle tube. You can also see the shape of the missle.
