Looks like the Missle section was an after thought. The shape of the top deck fairing into the bow reminds me of the Victor.

Upper left caption on the 214 photo says "Korean Type 214." I hear the Wizard has done some amazing work on the Revell 1:144 kit. Too bad the project sits discarded in his lair...

Not discarded ... in a holding pattern. I'm so late with this Jim. My apologies. It and so many other 'started' projects have to wait till I get caught up on orders and product development projects.

I only tease...the forum membership should be reminded (or informed) that you've done a significant amount of work on the 1:144 Revell 214 already.

The 214 looks to be very capable at full scale and the photo here is a nice one. This angle shows some similarity with the 212, which makes me think the 214 isn't a bargain basement export.

Perhaps others will share my enthusiasm for the opportunity to add a small 214 to their fleet.

Dry Deck Shelter (DDS) with door open. That is either USS Dallas, or USS Philidelphia off of what looks like Italy. The Box you are asking about is a storage unit for certain items that can be placed outboard.

Torpedo tubes from a 214 type. Nice and shinny new. My dictionary tells me that "Alagado" means flooded in Spanish
