    That's good stuff, Manfred.

Hey, Mike: Can you source that little fill-valve for quantity buy? Would be a great alternative item we could offer our European guys.

    Great work as always, Manfred!

As it's hard finding a source of propel gas locally that's exactly what I was planning to do, use gas lighter refill valves. Butane is relatively cheaper and much readily available in any convenience store.

Another possible alternative to Propel would be the so-called "green gas" used by airsoft enthusiasts. I believe these use a similar valve system. Green gas does contain some silicone oil as lubricant for the gun's internals.

Maybe Mike can find a supplier for these http://airsofttech.com/shop/index.ph...roducts_id=279

there's even a special adaptor to enable you to use a regular propane tank to refill your airsoft gun.

Thanks Guys, it's good to be back at the 212, working at the OSA refreshed my mind, last meeting it wasn't possible to make the launchers work properly, and if something doesn't work right, i won't use it untill i've sorted out all things, i have a ego to think about.

            Tom,

Wouldn't that be nice, a tail of fire behind the torps, just to scare them off, this way i always have the pond for myself.

            David,

I think using this kind of nipples will be a good addition for the european market, like Red showed in his link, it seems to me that those filling nipple are almost the same as my homemade one's.
It will make live easier for filling those torps, and the butane gas you can get at almost any shop in town.

Those earclamps look good to me, i always use the same kind of types, but with a tighten screw connection, they are applied inside my type VII for the more bigger flex tubings, those things which David always uses are better for the smaller diameter flex hoses.

Today i've scored some gas at the local cigarette store, tomorrow it give it a go inside the shop, i'll report back with the result, be patient.

              An EXCELLENT find, Romel!

It's now in Mike's hands. Thanks.

Just what the weapon system needs, a means of adapting the pneumatic elements to the easier to source Butane bottles.

Good work, pal ... good work.

I'm with you 100%, Manfred. Romel came through (now ... if he would only finish that damned KILO of his!).

We'll try to source those little valves and add them to the product line.

Your good work (and Romel's assist) is greatly appreciated.

I agree with the find of Romel, if those nipples are to get commercially, it will surely be a good addition for the European market, for me it's working well, got me some butane lightergas yesterday and made today some promising trails.

Filling is easy and they shoot out without any problems, to illustrate this i made a vid inside the shop, just to show how everything is working, gave the credits to David for his design and building this torpedo system, enjoy.

                        Thanks Yannis,

This work as usual took some more effort, left it alone this summer untill now, today i'll rip apart David's brainchild and will retool it with the dremel, have a airbubble problem to solve.
                        Will post pictures later.

                        Manfred.

Not much to show, but this what you get when you take apart the launchtubes, to get the tiny lockball out inside the breechblock, i used a magnet, worked like a charm, allready made the slits with the dremel, it's a bit messy, i'll clean them up and start putting them together, to be continued.

HWSNBN suggested shortening the fill tube to reduce power at launch. I was wondering, what if we could somehow incorporate Manfred's or the gas gun's fill valve directly into the breech block either at the end or at right angles. This reduces the amount of ejection gas. Also reduces the risk of a fill tube rupture.

Don't forget the pliers David, otherwise it could be most painfull.

                                Romel,

I could be done, but the only problem to me seems the room you have inside you torpedoroom of your boat, inside my 212 this aint bad, but when i look at the nest of tubes on a Gato, it's a different story.
You also marked a piont that i still have to adress to the buckett list, shorten the hoses.
