Thanks for the info. AKULA cockpit is much smaller, but your pictures are a great aid.

This thing will be in the water by midweek. Hopefully with some good video coming from it.

I've been at the pond with my AKULA on Saturday and Sunday. Performed superbly. As I went there alone, couldn't deal with radio and camera all at once, and have no video or pics. Have to look for a camerafellow with knowledge about filming format postable in You Tube.

Take your time, pack a proper field kit (fins and mask), get the pre-mission checks right, and go easy on the throttle. Don't loose her now!

Yes, finding a video taker is sometimes the problem. When you do, posting video is no problem. Use Youtube or Vimeo and upload your videos of resonable size. On Vimeo, after you register, just click on the Upload button and follow the instructions, its easy. You have your video on file in your "my pictures file" on your PC. When prompted by Vimeo just click on it and your upload is on the way. It usually takes an hour before your video posted to Vimeo is available to posting to the forum. If you need help from there just let me know.

Yes, for sure! Al Nuci has found for us a great new place to go sailing our subs. Its called Oscar Scherer state park. We are going there tomorrow and ill post pictures and video later. Its a white sandy beach fresh water swimming hole of good size with excellent visibility in clear water and the depth gradually goes deeper just like the beach. To a max I think of 5 and a half feet. Looks good. Give you the full story on Thursday.

                        Well done, Mark. Beautiful!

Make sure Vlad gets an eye-full of what you've done with his kit.

Very, very impressive display -- the flat clear-coat changes EVERTHING!

And the second one. Certainly not competition quality, just trying to get something down in video form.

The trip worked out well in most respects. The water ,unfortunately, was fed by a sulfer spring which I think interfered somewhat with the radio reception. As soon as a dive was started it would lose signal. So videos were not very good. But we got some good stills.
