Odd. The world as a whole is in an economic spiral downward. Yet guys like you and me are raking it in hand over fist.

Life is good... cough, cough wheeze, wheeze!

Yes it is fascinating. All the makers I know are doing more than ever. Raking it in.

See...art and engineering is as essential as groceries picking up trash after all.

          David,
you use CA around the cup seal? Does the tolerances require that? Does CA cause any issues with the seal?
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Kidding aside, what's with the tongue on the seal cup?

Wow! Some very nice words from 2 of my long time counterparts. The beautiful woman in the photo is my 20 year old daughter. We do many WWII veterans events and parades together in the Willys. It has been a great time together as we are both huge nerds.....

Dave and I go back to 1994 when I was desperately trying to buy a Skipjack before I got married. (Every married man knows that play) Steve and I started trading work a few years after during the Pirate days. I have learned much from both of you and appreciate all the generous packages that show up at my house. Enough hugs and kisses....Its time for Dave to get back to work.

How much are you reducing the 2mm motor shaft to accept the extension shaft?

Sorry slightly more confused than normal. Looking at your pictures post #354 on wards. Those motors look to me like brushed motors BUT I thought you had crossed over to the brushless system and ONLY were using brushless motors from now on???? Please explain. Thank you for your enlightenment.
