On the actual boats, that nexus point was aft of the c.g., so what very little yaw differential thrust produced was ass-backwards to the norm. Conning one of these beasts within the breakwater must have been a total *****.
Study the toe-in of the Type-21 shafts and think it through, pal. Nice ESC you've dug up on the internet, but useless on this submarine.
The two motors will be wired in parallel, and one ESC will do all the work. KISS.
Rudder, stern planes, and bow planes will be practical... as usual.

The two shafts were not coupled, they worked independently. An experienced boat-driver could work out the 'Chinese' differential thrust situation unique to the class and use it to advantage when maneuvering in and out of pier.Who is John Galt?Comment
