Its a nice diorama but look nothing like a WW2 wreck does. The planking is still all there for a start

I went to hyperscale and read the guys story, after seeing the credit on the pic. Its a revell boat in an aquarium. with a out of scale research boat. There are fish in the tank, he says. I put a pirate ship model in a salt water aquarium when I was a kid. It killed all the fish. The only glue and paint I had at the time was Testors aircraft dope, and the Testors glue. The touliene and MetholEtholKeytone, plus the lead, did a number on the PH and they bellied up. I left the boat in the tank without running the pump for awhile till it was so green you couldnt see the boat. It sure looked neet for awhile.Comment

Mark thanks for that, I will have to look at it at the end of the week as we are having a few days away with the kids on Dartmoor. I didn't realise my post of the uboat in the fish tank would get a response. I think it looks quite good as a diorama but when the lighting effect is taken away it just looks like a plastic model in a fish tank.Peter.Comment
