Not quite so close. What I love about this picture is the coloration. It looks like its early morning and the sun is giving everything a greenish tint.
IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!
Shallow water, less than300 ft deep and most likely sandy bottom, give the water that greenish effect. Notice the boat is riding high, most likely to navigate the shoal. Looks like mid morning and the sun is directly behind the helo that's taking the picture. I figured out the angle of the sun by the shadows from the sail aft tip and the relatively flat plane of the deck. The oval shadow of cerulian blue in the wake to the left of amidships is of the aircraft. Depending on the Latitude, ships course and time of year you could get more accurate. The other boat, I couldn't tell if its coming up or going down. What you see in pictures is not always what it appears. Just a small example. I was on a large sailing vessel during a photo shoot for a commercial, being shot from a helo, by a large production company. They had tons of money tied up in vehicles, professional models, and lodging for the crew, in Key West. The day we took the boat to the reef/lighthouse location it was flat calm, no wind whatsoever. The scenario was to have the girls ride the spinnaker in a chair over the reef, and be filmed by air and on the deck. We ended up having to motor in reverse, with the sails up, to make them billow out, which was fine for the on deck crew, but the helo POV film had to be played back in reverse, to make the boat to appear going forward.
