A RMMV what? See.....you know about stuff like that. All I know is that its a new fangled contraption thats run with IC chips and microprocessor circuitry thats prone to breakdown bigtime. Its probably got 10 computers where it really needs only one or less. 100 hours of maintanance for every 60 seconds of operation. I agree with you. Last week I saw a report about the new LCS of the US Navy, and one of them spent three days testing the famous RMMV. Must see commander's face when contractors inform him about the troubles they are experimenting with the prototype. Finally they performed a very restricted test and said everything was really good but, as you say, this kind of things tend to be extremely prone to failures due to the enormous ammount of microprocessors and computers they need to work, And yes, a lot of maintenance for very little operation time.Comment
