Thanks PeterW. Do you see what I see? Look at the deck in front of the sail and on the face of the sail of the picture you just posted.. SOKS Sensors. I have this picture but I never noticed it before in those locations . Thanks PeterW I blew it up and highlighted it to reveal better what I am talking about. Its not a very good picture now except to make the point.

PeterW, look under programs and see if you have "Paint". Most computers do. Using Paint you can easily convert it to a JPEG or JPG. Check first, and if you do Ill give you a step by step.

Mark, Tom I have managed to change the image to a jpeg. Not sure actually if it shows it better or not.

Looking at how much is below the waterline, if I build one, I will just throw some sand on the hull to represent the growth.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

I've never seen a model boat with this much gunk. Maybe someone could do one.

A tired old VICTOR that had been sitting at an inactive pier for years without up-keep. Atypical.

You could dust it with cornmeal for that effect, but there is textured spray paint in flat colors at Home Depo that will do the trick nicely. Perhaps a combination of both to get the graded effect, as the growth is heavier as you get lower below the waterline. I might have to try it out on a piece of PVC, before I go applying it to a model. It would be a ***** to have to sand it all off if it doesnt work out. The sensored word would be witch with a capital B to be politicly correct
