Thanks Dave. Additional progress on my Hydrogen Peroxide wonder. Got all the tabs on and installed the hold-down fitting in the back. I put a light film of thin oil on the threads of the screw so that the CA wouldnt get into it. After previously drilling a hole thru the top hull to establish the proper place I installed the ingeniously shaped piece of renshape that was pre-threaded. Carefull.....try it both ways to see which way fits best. The flat side out worked for me. Put the screw thru the top and wick in CA around the renshape piece.
Later I mixed up some two part DOT epoxy and poured it in the keel to firm up that area. Dont forget to tape up the bottom so it doesnt leak out while its trying to set, and make sure you level the hull both ways so as it seeks its own level , you wont be disappointed.Click image for larger version

(Pointing east) It's Manfred's fault! He started it!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Todays limited progress. I installed my hold-down hooks over the battery WTC area. Also, I tried to address the bubble trap under the sail by drilling a hole in the far back of the middle plate in the sail. Also, all the little holes on top of the muffler cover behind the sail I drilled out and a few of them a size or two bigger. I couldnt help myself but I had to put a few more bits on the sail and deck. Pretty happy with the way the top fits on the hull. Ill be making a few more adjustments here and there to it as I go along.
Next up, we start working on modifying my "Garage Sale" subdriver into something the type 23 can use.

Take a look at this paint scheme. Are we all in agreement that what looks like a white stripe on the hull is actually a yellow stripe? DAVE.....................MANFRED? That would be the best paint scheme so far presented. I could tape that off and airbrush a bright yellow stripe on there and be in HOG HEAVEN!Click image for larger version
