Scoring the supports really simplifies the snipping process. The Diamond Cutting wheel did awesome and gives me confidence for when I do the Horizontal Hull cut.

When I get to those, remind me and I can send you what I fabricate.

Will a mini circular saw give a cleaner cut than a diamond wheel? Click image for larger version

I am doing what David does by using Diamond wheels, seems to me that a thinnest blade will be best and large teeth will jerk the model and rotary around causing major issues, just my opinion, mine are .60 MM

What I’m going to remember from Dave’s posts, is TAKE YOUR TIME. Score the plastic slowly, as many times as it takes. I have to keep this in my head when it’s my time to start. I think this is probably the hardest part of the build, but can be accomplished with patience.

Yes, it's not one continuous cut, small slow jabs working in depth. Should take an hour.

Ok, installed grills in hull, Torpedo Doors, marked where rudder rod holes will be, drilled 1MM hole for rudder control wire if I choose over a wheel lock, and glued the halves together.

Next I epoxied the hull halves keels on the inside before gluing together. Tomorrow I will epoxy the upper hull seams.

Are you going to cut any extra flood grates in the bottom of the hull?
