The cells are connected in series, so when you bridge two neighboring cell lines you will be exposed to 20-30 Volts. Even less scary. Or do I get something wrong?
    Of course, you're right.

But, in my own defense, I was a dumb-ass kid who had just cross-decked from a Tender. I was regarded as only a new non-qualified-play toy to be ****ed with mercilessly till I got the smarts (it took me nine-long-months) to get a set of Dolphins slammed into my chest.

Guys, DC is more dangerous as AC, if you short a battery, you have a inferno, when you do this and the end you've got 120 Volts DC, and a massive current wil fry you, probably shoes left only.
        Just my two cents.

I agree, if you short a high power battery, it'll burn. But at 120 V your body won't be very effective at shorting a battery. 120V are potentially deadly but you're body has quite a high resistance.

That's true, but if you short the busbar, it will give some nice firework, touching a busbar won't hurt you, even making connection with your body between two busbars won't give much trouble, as you stated, your body resistance is much too high to cause problems.

The most repetitive part of this built is done....the batteries are painted. Next will be cabling and ventilation piping....

The finished result of the battery painting looks great. You must have done it without any caffeine in your system. Tedious work.

The details you are adding to your build are amazing and really bring it all to life. My hats off to you sir! Great stuff!

Yeah, Nick. The good Doctor had me entranced with his radio-shack. But, the dry-goods space, adjacent the battery well.... That blew me away! So much like the spaces on submarines and ships I served on. I found myself looking for rat droppings and bugs -- the display is that good!

If the inside is this good, the outside should be something to behold.
Of the 40,000 men who served on German submarines, 30,000 never returned.”
