More progress on the 1:35 scale Type XXIII with interior. Installed the ventilation manifold on the bulkhead between controll and torpedo room. From the main duct runs a duct down to the battery room where it connects to the manifold from which the tubes to the batteries originale. This down duct can be shut off using a gate valve. To vent the cut off volume when the gate is closed, there is a vent line originating just above the gate valve. The main duct runs straight ahead to the bow while a secondary duct arcs over to the port side where the galley is located.

Kept working on the bow torpedo room with the galley. The ventilation duct for the big electric pot is installed as well as the manual water pump with the water counter and the respective piping....here is a comparison between original and the model. I like it.

A little bit of progress on the bow torpedo room. I printed, painted, and added the foldable tables. Also the curtain on the door to the control room is done and found its place. So the back part of the room is getting ready. Next will be the front part with the torpedo tube assemblies.

A little bit of progress. This time the two torpedo tubes that were printed in one piece. Took several tries, but now I'm quite pleased with them. Only the hand wheels on the hatches had to be re-printed and the loccking levers were replaced by styeren profiles. I then glued the tubes to the bow bulkhead using epoxy to have a bit more time for adjustments. Finally I glued the feed throughs for the sea water hoses into place. Now I have to belnd in colors with some washes. Getting there.....
