    I have a Question:

I have the oil filled bronze bushing installed.

Click image for larger version Name:	ALFA OIL FILLED BUSHING.jpg Views:	0 Size:	70.5 KB ID:	159217

Is there anything that needs to go between the prop and the bushing? Like a washer?

      Yes, stainless steel washers.

        Thank you, David,

Those photos are just what I was looking for. I am fabricating a bulkhead about 2" outside the stern section to make sure things line up!

The shaft is installed and is ready to be finished up!

Shaft lined up well to the center point. It is friction free and turns very smooth! Finally got the stern section ready to connect up to the rest of the hull!

The stern has been lined up and connected to the main hull! Before anyone gets on me about the current finish on the Alfa. The black and the red is all FILLER, PRIMER, and SEALER that I use on all my 3D printed PLA Boats! Moving On!!

Rob are you only using the lower rudder ala Kilo class?

                  Thank you, Steve!

Now it's setting up the WTC. Linning up the control surface push rods and propulsion shaft.

                  Romel,

No! Both the upper and lower rudders do function. (David M's photos helped me a great deal in setting up the stern section) However, I did enlarge the bottom ruder by about a 1/4" wider to give me a little better turning radius!?

Next with my Alfa will be the set up on the WTC (70 mm purchased from Nautilus Drydocks) There is a considerable amount of electronic to wiring to do, but with the space the inside the WTC the wiring and addition components will not be a problem!

I will be adding an addition servo to the WTC for the forward dive plains. At this point not sure if it will be outside or inside the cylinder?!

                        Steve,

The control linkages are falling right in-line with the WTC!

The prop shaft is straight in and looks like just a simple dog bone hook up without a universal joint at this point! I hope the bow dive plains go as well!

                          Rob,

Everything is looking good. Nice work. Are you going to add a support to the main shaft before the connection to the the WTC? It’s a bit long of a connection to not support it in my humble observation.

                          Nick

I'm with Nick on that. And put a universal at the shaft-WTC make-up point. Give that Poor WTC motor seal-bearing a break!
