David, which particular surface prep product do you use on plastics prior to painting? I asked this before but I'm missing where I asked.

I already have this TSP Cleaner for some other use. It looks like it should be sufficient to use.

Having seen that particular Seaview, I know how small that area is, and appreciate how hard it was to get it right. Actually, on that Seaview, my eyes go toward the windows first.

Nope. 'Waterproofing' is a fools errand -- it seldom holds back the wa-wa. Best to leave wiring exposed; let them bask in the purity of sparkling fresh water and fresh, clean air.
