Here we go. it's designed for flyers, but you can insert a surface crystal in it and it'll work fine. this works with 35mhz (our flying band) to 40mhz (or surface band), so I'm pretty confident this will work with 72 to 75MHZ.

It's a top bit of kit, the servos are something else, as they don't use pots for feedback, they use linear hall effect sensors- no pots to wear out and or get scratchy! The servos torque isn't massive, but should suffice, especially if you use magnetic couplers.

The receiver is a 4-channel job.

UK.COM is the UK's preferred domain extension, offering excellent names together with high global and local visibility. Give your business the benefit of a UK.COM domain name.

Falcon Breeze Block now with DSP & Fail Safe

The Digital Signal Processing function ensures only clean signals reach the servos. If after approx. 1-2 seconds no good signals are received, the fail safe function will be activated. The Fail Safe function remembers the Tx stick positions on power up eg, throttle closed, controls neutral. Tx on first then switch on Rx. To test fail safe, throttle up , control sticks full travel, swtich off Tx, neutral controls, motor cuts.
Designed to make installation easy for micro radio controlled models - Includes 2 Falcon digital servos and the New Falcon Receiver all on one board. ONLY 4.8g complete with crystal and designed to operate between 3 and 5v. Example: 1 Li-poly cell directly connected for gliders, or through the Falcon single cell ESC for powered models. Alternatively for 2 Li-poly cells, through the 5v BEC function of an ESC. 120metres range on only a 20cm (8") Rx aerial. The aerial can be extended for greater range.

    Dimensions:
    length 36mm
    width 24mm
    height 10mm

Also, Spektrum now have a cheap little linear servo for very small applications

Shop Spektrum’s high-performance RC transmitters and radios, RC batteries, and RC electronics.

Ah yes, that's the assembly I saw. I forgot that it had exposed onboard servo parts.
It is a small assembly and should work okay in Low-torque applications.

OK, here are the final shots of the commercially available little SKIPJACK fittings kit and SubDriver. Each is available separately. I've given Mr. Caswell my price and he'll work up the retail price and have these things in the catalog soon.

          Get 'em while they're hot.

I've provided a photo showing the difference between the stock built-up kit and one modified with our fittings kit.

The Revell little SKIPJACK kit is sold separately.

Can you tell us more about that nano ESC.

Good grief you are the limit, 4 A rating is more than enough for any small model, it's 60 watts at 12 volts for Pete's sake. Just how much power do you need!

If you look at the other pages on that site, you'll see they also do a 15A version for larger models, and it's only a bit bigger.

If an ESC has just two wires for the motor (like these) they're designed for a brushed DC motor.

I was being facetious. The 4 A is more than up to the job.

A small can mabuchi type motor, 180 or therabouts. I'd be surprised if it's over 20 watts.

You just aren't going to need wads of power to push an efficient little model like that through the wet stuff.

Good grief! The ESC is a special for us but similar to the Mtronics Micro Viper. and rated for the motor. Merriman has worked all this out. The system is 'cast in stone'.

I never lead anyone astray. You asked about small ESC's suitable for little models, and I gave you an answer.
