Alright, so before I get to it I figured that I would post up the question now. So, 2 years back (as you can see from the start of the thread) I had purchased the GATO kit along with the WTC kit (yes, the kit and not the fully assembled WTC). The DVD's don't say anything about putting together the WTC ... so i'm curious if there is a thread that details how to properly put this together (i think i have the general idea from pictures here and there), but the issue lies with how big do i make each chamber and any other of the smaller details that I cannot get from pictures alone.

    Any help would be fantastic!

    Thanks again guys,

If it's a SD kit then the compartment location and size is fixed by the holes already drilled into the cylinder.

It was purchased from Casewell 2 years back; but i do believe its a SD Kit....the label says D&E Revell Gate WTC. I do so the holes that you speak of. So, what about the other details that are not outlined with predrill holes? Is there a post anyhwere to show a Gato newbie?:)

Btw, here are the latest shots of my sub. I have added the running gear (had to make a trip to the hobby store yesterday as i realized that the kit doesn't come with dumas couplers). Also, got the craddel in place for the WTC. Lastly, I got the upper half of the sub fitted to secure down to the rest of the sub. Only one issue that i'm having and that's the screw matching up to the backhalf ... i thought i had that pretty close to perfect, but I'll have to adjust that some.

Very cool! Exciting to see another Gato being built and you ran the running her better than I did!
Keep up the good work sir!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Those SD 'kits' were the worst marketing move Mike and I ever made. That's why we stopped doing that and now (with the exception of the 1.25" and 3.5" SD 'kit') only offer them as assembled and tested units.

Tell you what: box up your GATO SD kit, send it to me, and I'll return the current version, all built up, tested, and ready to receive your devices, battery and other goodies.

No! I'm an idiot for producing those SD's as kits in the first place.
