I believe that it is a Guppy, just like the Trutta, hey Dave. What I found interesting was how the chin dome is constructed. Looks like it comes apart down the centerline. The Port side is missing. -
No we don't! It's a GUPPY.Leave a comment:

Well. We all agree that's a type XXI bow lower part. What's the unusual thing? The square coaming or what seems to be a different material in the front part of the sonar dome?Leave a comment:

I SPY the unknown. Can YOU fill in the gaps? In drydock, this boats exposed machinery reveals what?Leave a comment:

OK then, I SPY the Harder of the Tang class. If the protrusions on the Seawolf were to support a fake DSRV then what are these? Looks like they were experimenting with additional control surfaces.Leave a comment:

They could just be temporary support beams for the platform on the rear deck.
Does anyone have photos of the helicopter-style "landing skids" Seawolf used when parked on the seabed?Leave a comment:

In the last picture you can see something permanantly attached to the sails front on each side. I say permanantly because it looks like diagonal bracing underneath them.Leave a comment:

Wow! perhaps those thrusters are what I see in these other pictures.
