I can't take any credit. That hull master was provided me by Howard. It was printed in China I think. Exacting representation
The robots can do this work quicker, better, and cheaper than I ever could. I've lived too long.Who is John Galt?Comment

Is that brass tool acting as a broach or a former/shape to fill around?Last edited by Subculture; 05-17-2026, 07:18 AM.Comment

A former to retain the square outline of the limber holes as I compact blanking clay to form. The master limber holes were pass-throughs and had to be partially blanked off so the tool making rubber would not leak through.Who is John Galt?Comment

Funny at regattas, Albacore models seem to evoke two descriptions, 'the fat chick' and 'beautiful', often both. lol.
Oh 'fat chick'? Ok watch this! lol.Comment

Ha! I'll share that with Howard when he gets here.
We're going to do the Norfolk HarborFest regatta in a few weeks. I'll be running this 'little' 1/96 ALBACORE there, hopefully Howard will get some stick-time on that thing as well.
