Multi-tasking in the verts for the THRESHER's I see. You going to make molds and cast them?

Nice recovery on the yellow David. The PUFFS for the THRESHER's are looking good too. I still can't get over how the simple trick of cutting an edge on the tape before laying it down makes it prevent bleeding under the tape. I will forever remember that nugget of modeling technique. Thank you for sharing that on my THRESHER build.Last edited by SubDude; 08-10-2022, 12:13 AM.Comment

These are wonderful works of art! I'm sorry to interrupt you, David have you ever thought about writing a book about all your techniques? That way people who come after you can learn from your wisdom.Comment

My work is already out there: I've contributed to several hard and loose-bound books, appeared on TV, done many panels and seminars, have written over 80 published articles. And recently had material presented in Bob's Diving (balls) Deep how-to book.
Now. Two choices: I can either write that epic. Or I can build and assemble models and play with them to my heart's content. Pick one!
Bob has started a new series on his YouTube channel dealing with submitted videos by other r/c model submariners. Be on the lookout for that, I just sent him a bunch of stuff to air out.

You were right about the white undercoat -- really made the yellow 'pop'.
Pole?
LEAVE ME ALONE... you've caused enough problems for me you rivet-counting so-and-so!
