The real Cabinetmaker at this site is Ken Druze. I just slap these things together. His are functional masterworks in themselves.

That is a lot of foam shaping. That is why I only had three foam retainers. But I have a stand that helps. My boxes are painted, will post pictures tomorrow.

Update on my transport boxes. Painted and ready to go for Subfest. Two coats of paint. The Marlin box is 16" high and 16 pounds. The Skipjack box is 14" high and 15 pounds. Both are 50" long and 10" wide.

What thickness foam are you using? From the photo's I'm guessing it is around 1" thick.
