I have on hand a sizable collection of various type 75mHz receivers -- I use the biggest receiver that will fit the particular job. I save the mini-receivers for the the r/c submarines that employ the 1.25" SD.
You have to consider the geometry of the receiver for overall fit. And a big consideration is how the receiver ports are oriented -- do they go along the length of the receiver, or do the ports come off the top? In tight confines such things must be considered.
My next installment will demonstrate how I crimp on new servo lead pins after I optimize the length of a devices three-wire lead.Resident Luddite

Might be worth moving that switch-mode BEC away from the receiver, or use the aluminium rack as a partial shield- they can radiate some junk.Time to DIVE IN! https://www.facebook.com/groups/133360626703083/

I'm about ready to tear out this receiver and put one of my test-and-set-up receivers in there -- gotta finish this and get it in the water so I can address Kim's RTR and get back to production work for Bob. I'm way behind.

I'm assuming you've tried swapping channels to see if it's an issue with the esc?Time to DIVE IN! https://www.facebook.com/groups/133360626703083/
