Do you find the Z bend always the easiest to use, and does it have the best range of motion?
Good range of (rotational) motion, marginal anti-back-lash. But good enough for us. Chosen because I'm from the school of, 'don't permit perfection to become the death of accomplishment'. If it works, don't fix it.
Dave, I’m always afraid of putting stress on the entrance/exit of the servo linkage while bending them, causing damage to the gasket. I use another pair of holders on the exit to ensure I don’t. You make it look easy and unnecessary. Also, I’ve never seen you slip that cut out WTC on when you bend the linkage. That’s a new one on me.
I have the complete range (diameter) of those 'linkage/pushrod integrating jigs' but this appears to be the first picture I've posted of one being used.
Though I'm long out of production-mode of WTC assembly, I still break out the relevant tooling, jigs. fixtures and documents (not lost in the flood) when the need arises.
