It will not stop the hardened re casters but at least its out there and known to be mine, Part of the reason I do all this posting now. Not like a lot of people will not know who mastered this now. wont stop it but hell, you gotta try.

Good move -- the best poor-man's copyright is to get the word out amoung the leaders in the field. We'll deal with any knock-off crook we come across here in the State's.

My policy: Re-casters are killed and eaten on the spot!

Well the way I see it is that this model build was posted on 4 different forums and facebook. Most people will know its mine and thats all I can expect. On a lighter note the moulds for the resin parts have been done apart from the large top fins, ran out of rubber. More coming on wednesday so will do the rest then. hope to get a pull over the weekend.

                  HA! Someone got it!

I hear Caswell will soon be stocking bulk Razor-wire. When not modeling I tinker with Trap design.

Last pic of masters before the first pour of rubber. The white walls are simply to hold in the neat rubber and build up a solid edge, after 3 pours of neat I add a thixotropic agent and butter the rest on.

By 'neat' I assume you mean first applications of RTV straight out of the can, thin -- to minimize bubble entrapment, then build up with thickened rubber? What nominal wall thickness to the glove element do you shoot for?

Will you make a rigid 'mother-mold', or backing strong back to back up the rubber tool against the sagging that results from gravity and such?

I got permission from the originator of the smaller resin STINGRAY to make my own tool for a GRP copy -- here's how I did it. The brown stuff is the gel-coat and glass lay-up done to creat a backing mother-mold. It worked but if I had it to do over again I would have made the rubber element (the glove mold in local language) thicker.

Yup, the only difference here is tha your making a two part mould (From what I see) I have it a bit easier as mines in two parts. My Sky1 is done as you have shown there. My Glove will be made of Fibreglass for strength. Oh BTW First pour is on.

Yeah, had to make a parting mold-board as I was dealing with a full-up hull casting. Great minds think alike. You're already deep into the rubber end of things. Wow. I better get hot on that PJ valve I bragged about above ...
