Starting at the stern, first 3 sections attached with screws and threaded inserts. Motor attachment threaded inserts installed, pump, pump esc, and rx layed in.

So I want to eliminate the crimp in tubes that attach to this pump, so made "180 degree manifolds"

So as I finish the cylinder, thinking about what boat to put it in. Have never printed a sub in resin so decided to test print Bobs 212 Tail Section at 1:70 scale, came out nicely

Ok, cylinder is complete, pressure tested and fully functional. Working on new bow end caps for better bow servo alignment.

With the Cylinder completed and fully tested, I am now building the German Type 212 STL files from The Nautilus Drydocks in 1:70 Scale. For easy placement of the files I like importing them at 25% scale to Tinkercad

Make sure the End caps are of a material that will not become porous and absorb water. Maybe you already have checked. If its printed material, refer to posts in this forum on this topic.

The are printed with Siraya Tech Fast ABS-Like 3D Printer Resin. I will monitor for absorption. On the next one we are going to coat them.
