Taped the waterline and covered the lower hull.
Sprayed over with the final dark grey. Mixed up 3 portions black with one portion light grey, single-action airbrush set to very thin until i got a very fine soft spray effect.Cut with nitro-thinner and sprayed over. Time-consuming, very little paint per shot. Of 40ml paint i used 10ml in about 30 minutes.
Picture no.1 showing first layer to the left and untouched hull on the right.
Will brush and wipe the upper hull after curing. Edges/rustmarks/aluminum silver on the rails and dome etc. from the detailing were left visible as is a slight streaking on the limber holes as planned.
I tried to catch that in the pictures. Figured my HD-photos will be SD in here for any reason
All thats left should be minor detailing...and very little bird poo.
Comments welcome.
