YES! I managed to find some old pictures from Andy Jungmann's large 2 metre Beluga, whos build log (roteflotte borgcore) drew my attention to the 1710 many years ago. Sadly, that site is no longer available. Two pictures of his model attached. Back then he used a set of plans that is wrong in details, actually there are 2 slightly different versions commonly available when you google 'em.
By now ill stick to my sail as is and wait for the black color to see if its right. Mybe enlengthen that sternward ridge a bit.
the sail makes up at least 50% of the right "look" of that specific model imo. Very distinctive. Wrong, youll get an ugly sibling of the Alfa or Akula.
