If that sail comes off underway you will loose it -- it will sink like a rock. Either stick a piece of foam in it so it will float on its own (for later recovery if it comes off), or tether it to the hull with a lanyard. Those metal masts will raise the collective c.g. -- that means you'll need more than normal fixed ballast weight in the bottom of the hull to keep this beast from excessive rolling. That's why I originally provided resin masts, not metal.

Time to charge the batteries, install the RX, and check servo nuetral positions and limit throws to protect the rubber bellows.

What's up with the wheel collars on the ends of the dive planes?

Used to keep rod centered for attaching dive planes

After input provided on using square rods for the planes I decided to flatten my Dive Planes Rod for better fit and adhesion

Dive Planes control rod. Elected to have magnett connection under removable sail to ensure ease of connection. It turns out that it connects automatically when joining the hulls for Sub operations.

Needed to pull the upper hull port side in a bit so created a tab. Also the upper hull port side was warped a tiny amount so clamped hull on a flat board where no light passed thru between the hull seam and the board, carefully appplied heat with a heat gun. Now it is no longer warped.
