No problem. 2" sounds fine to me (since I know no better). Thanks for the feed back too. I'm happy that its an improvement on the last one. Slowly, slowly.

These shots will demonstrate what we have in the way of the SD for your fine looking ZULU:

In the hull is a 2" diameter Lexan tube, off-hull is a 2.5" SD

See how high out of the water (in surface trim) the 2.5" cylinder is? Yuck!

Here's the 2" SD cylinder -- its top just about even with the designed waterline. This is more like it!

Ready to start 2" SD fabrication, Scott. Waiting to hear from you. Note the three gears on the upper, right bulkhead -- that's how I'll get three outputs from one input.

The single-shaft 2" motor-bulkhead to the right illustrates how your get your unit: servos and pushrods installed. Before it gets out of here it will be tested for water tightness and function. All you'll have to do is populate the SD with the usual devices and non-sense.

That makes perfect sense. I'm really looking forward to seeing this thing and getting it installed. Can't wait.

Much better mate......think you are infected with the “rivet counter” microbe.

Just mentioning this by the way?

You know your gears sir....it's not so simple to get it the same as the original regarding rotation of the propellers.

This is really nice.....am I right assuming you are going to align the PS and SB output shaft in the horizontal plane and offset the central one horizontally (down) and vertically (to PS)?

I'm definately infected...with Bartitus! I was thinking the same thing about the shaft rotation and wondering how we were going to get counter rotating outer props.

Hummm..... we might be wrong. Maybe the two gears at the top are meshing together and one is driven by gear at the bottom. Then we flip the bulkhead around to place the two side by side gears toether and we have... THE ANSWER!

                          Nice build.

I'm too lazy to scan all the threads might as well go and ask the man himself. "Can you give me a list of all sub hulls you've made so far?"

Who are you asking? If me -- only a few I built, the rest I assembled from kits.
