      The last few weeks have been spent finishing the brass etching and sticking the bits on the plug. Today it looks like this:

      Still lots of sanding and filling to do but the basic idea is there.

      I've also been experimenting with a technique of oil canning the sail. Not perfect yet but it shows some promise.

        Sorry mate, I couldn't get the pics of the Zulu in Amstetdam harbour as i have been informed that that boat has been scrapped.
        Bummer....

                Etched both sides of the brass sheet. On the rear I etched a grid pattern then used the end of a paint brush to press the brass against a flat surface. Instant dishing!
