Its my guess that someone came up with the bright idea of what to do with all these extra submarines. It would appear that the sail has been modified to house multiple rows of sleeping births. I would say that its a crew boat for on river work or something of that sort. Hurry up and digest that one. Ive got another one coming up.

The submarine to the right looks like they have installed a wheel house on top of the sail. Perhaps its for a height advantage when maneuvering. But for maneuvering for what??

I was wondering if they submerged and placed the forward block on the bow or block behind the sail and used it to
lift some object while viewing from the raised wheel house.

Crew clothes, headphones the man at the sail wear, and the rossete at officer's hat (also in the sail) seems to me about a european sub. Any other opinion?

I got that picture from a Russian site that, apparently, the poster got it from a guy who got it from a site whos girlfriend new of a place that he had it who thought that maybe he didnt know what it was..................in other words, the poster provided NO info.

When I first saw those pictures the first thought I had was that they are probably Russian - maybe WWI.

Here is a picture of a Russian submarine officer in WWI - what do you think?...

Commander Roedj, I cant say since I cant see the sail in your picture but I just finished consulting my book "100 years of Royal Navy Submarines" and its not in the book. So it looks like its not British. I dont think that its Russian either. Just a hunch.
