    The movie prop is on the aft section. It looks like a bad push me - pull you arrangement. You can see the dead light windows and navigation lights forward and the real aft end coming out from the prop build up at the waterline.
    If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

        good eye, I see the exhaust puff out of the mock up limber holes now, I was focused on the unusually high bow . All hands looking forward. I had to zoom in to figure it out. I'm getting old.
