Albacore stuff! Thats a new hull.

Yeah, that's one of the old Sub-Tech vacuformed hull. I'm assembling it to qualify the new fittings I'm working up for a new Caswell-Merriman kit. Note the phase-3 stern and dorsal rudder.

Im just thinking if the phase 1 ,Rudder behind the prop would hold any lure for model builders? If I remember correctly, the operators of the Phase 1 spoke of tremendous maneuverability going forward but almost nothing going astern.

The phase 1 Tail end section reminds me of the Disney Nautilus without all the spikes and rivets and stuff.

It was close. Had to use the paddles. Too bad that burned off most of his fur. Other than that, he's doing fine.
