A friend needs some clear hemisphere gun domes for his NAZI hydrofoil (What?). A vacuforming job. Been years since I did any of that type work and can't find the frames or plenums. Nuts! Got to make a plenum for this job, as well as a holding frame for the heated plastic sheet.

First, the plug/puck/form/pattern/mold/thewhateveritscalledthesedays... the item that will give form to the eventual parts.

























As the items are small, a scrap piece of Lexan tube was pressed into service as the basic plenum structure. Caped with two WTC bulkheads I had in the spares bin. A hole in the side of the plenum will mate tightly with the household vacuum cleaner hose. Film at Eleven.
