I'm building a 1:144 Revell U-214. I'd like to make it into an RC sub. I've already sorted out the hull separation and made the cuts.
The two photos show the hull after it was cut at what looks to be the waterline.
The copper rod shows where the control axes should go. Controls will probably work a lot like those on the 1:144 Trumpeter Kilo. The way I separated the hull, there ought to be plenty of room for the forward dive plane linkages.
Looks like there's plenty of room for the small SubDriver to fit in here, even with a ballast system.
