      Yeah! ... it's Gary's fault.

      As to the syringe pump: if you're looking for that mushy rubber to effect a seal around the rotating threaded shaft, likely it will, but I assume that the torque required will be a bit high.

      Andy's the expert on such things, lets all hold hands, sing a Gregorian chant, and conjure his spirit ......

        So does this mean we're going to see the 1:144 Type 214 getting ready for sea trials?

        Just curious...Did you pick any specific Type 214 to model?

            Thanks, I will try to get Ron's attention again. Just as a side note, fired up the Taig lathe to work on this! Woot! I will continue this conversation on the Aluminaut build.
            If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
