Simpler if you divide the throttle response into a few discrete stages, e.g. half a dozen steps- you won't notice the difference from full proportional control.
I was more thinking about it switching on and off rather than speeding up or down, I think it would look silly stopped but still beating it's tail, but hey it sounds cool to me.

I know which sub David is thinking about, it could well be this one:

That's even simpler. The elephant in the room is how you're going keep this thing going in a straight line. If you use flapping tail propulsion, it will be slow, if you use propulsors mixed with a flapping tail for effect, you have a huge rudder wiggling left and right. Drunken terror fish, anyone?

Ok, 1st test fitting of the Ratemaster/Jet assembly, Its all works but the module plate needs slight adjusting so that the rollers sit a little closer, at the moment its a bit siff to turn. This is in hand and should free up the movement to an acceptable level.

As of today this is were I am with it. I have made up a cabin floor and tried to reconcile it with the full size set. I have made it removeable so as when Its in the water I can replace the windows for smoked ones. Just need to sort out a method of fixing the cabin on now. The Ratemaster has been sanded and re polished to a level that I like. The way they come out of the mould they are way to clear and as I have all the equipment in there I like the way the gear is not so visable. Also in todays post a little peek at Mrs RCnuts Terrorfish progress.
