                Work?... WORK??.....WORK!!!!????????

You fed filament/resin into a Replicater; tapped some keys; pushed a mouse around; and mashed the 'enter' button. That ain't work!

                This is work:

David, I love when you do this photo dump. So much info in these photos. What was or is your favorite wtc you designed? What was your least favorite wtc?
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

To get all those pretty pictures posted from my hard-drive is simple: either **** me off or ask a specific question, or both.

Most favorite WTC: The Modular Sub Driver (MSD). We developed that on an assumption (never an assignment, we did it all on our own dime) that it was a product Bob wanted. I was wrong: the project went nowhere -- nearly a years worth of design, master and prototype tool making, iteration, production tooling, casting, cutting, and jigs and fixtures to support production. Dead-end. But our MSD was and is a great achievement. I still use them and is my preference when outfitting a new boat.

Bob did buy and sell a few units, but quickly decided to design, tool up, and produce his own line of WTC. And... that was that.

Cancer finally got Ellie, I threw my hands up in the air, and called it all a day. The MSD, our greatest achievement in my not so humble opinion.

Least favorite WTC: The first-generation Sub Driver (SD) we created while working for Mr. Caswell -- those external hoses and manifold heads always got in the way of a tight hull closure. That, and other shortcoming led to our invention of the MSD.

Dispite those external hoses( fixed that by using small tubes) i have found the SD a good base to work with.
I must say i always ripped the SD apart to rebuild it to my own specification and need.

Advice needed! I need to adhere my ballast cylinder to the ballast bulkheads. As shown i created a channel in the bulkhead for the tube to seat. Was thinking I would fill channel with West Marine 105 epoxy resin then seat the tube?

I would recommend clear RTV adhesive. Effects a watertight seal, has reasonable adhesive force, and will permit non-violent disassembly, if the need arrise.
