Here is a file I pulled of the web but it looks strange. I'm trying to form the forward and after hulls but I can't confirm the dimensions. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

With no battery installed, the CG is somewhere near the aft 1/3 of the boat.

I'm planning on a 6 Volt, 14 AH Werker Gel cell, unless someone wishes to correct the abhorrent error of my ways. This cell weighs ~6.1 lbs, which should drive the dry CG into the forward 1/3 of the boat.

Is there a rule of thumb for where the CG should be in relation to the Center of the Ballast tank, which is positioned as stated above?

CG at the longitudinal center (or thereabouts) of the ballast tank.

Thanks to David and Sam for their help I'm ready to start a model of USS Tucson SSN 770. I'll do this in a separate thread.

Only 3 MBTs in the bow! So, only 6 MBT vents. The rest were aft end, behind the Engine Room, in the tail cone.
