Thanks Rob. It is not for everyone as we all have limitations within which we operate.Comment

I love it, Steve! The HMK Seawolf kit that I got from Erich's estate looks like it was going to be cut up and extended as Jimmy Carter. That got reversed when we got our hands on her, but you have me re-thinking the idea! I'd love to see this at SUBFEST, functional or no...

It may not look much different than the last shots but the top sections are now glued together and pinned to fit with the bottom hull so the halves are locked together. Everything fits well. I am going to add some partial bulkheads to secure the top along its length and then I will work to finish the WAA's and torpedo door detail.

Man, I hope they do not have a water issue at Red Clay because of the water displacement!!!? :-))
That boat is a real masterful achievement Steve, and when you get the finish on it, WOW!

Thanks Rob. I wish it could have been further along for Subfest but at least it is all together. Finishing it is another chapter. I need to remember to get an AUW empty on it but will possibly have to take it outside to do so as it is too long to fit vertically in my basement. Not a bad problem to have.Comment
