    Jim,

Keep building, keep posting and enjoy the banter here.

I love this forum, mostly for the fact that it is not heavily moderated, I've given up on other forums where every sentenced is sweated over by the moderators for fear of offence.

I also value the resource availability, some of the past high-end builds amount to a 'how to' for model submarine construction, and have saved me time and money.

On a personal note, to have access to a former special effects expert and top model builder (for free) is amazing, David's feedback and his willingness to engage is great. I can have any number of family/friends praise my work, but to have a master builder take even a remote interest in one's work is very encouraging, I welcome criticism as it's the best way to improve one's methodology.

Living on the other side of the world it's unlikely I will meet David and some of the other talented builders here, however I have it on good authority that David is in fact a pussy cat in person!

When asked by my friends if am I in a 'club' for fellow model submariners, I inform that I am in an International Club, and refer them to this forum.

    Happy building.

    Rob (The Boattrainman)

I see the pictures. They are attachments and not added in the text. For whatever that is worth.
In the scheme of things this, I am guessing, not high on what is important right now.

Dave, you had the same issue seeing pics that I embedded in some email messages. I wonder if there is a setting in your browser that is preventing the display of images?

    Bob
Thanks, Bob. I'll check it out.

Absolutely! Trial and error, as I’m sure you know.
