Bart is the man, no doubt about it. Bloody marine engineers. Who'd of thought that they would be interested in accuracy?

First time the hull parts were mated....yeah she looks beefy.
The transition of the bow/stern and hull was sanded till all was smooth.
Saterday next all will be primed.

        Wow!

When are you going to circumcise that thing? All it needs are some veins (safety-tracks).

        Sorry.

And once more David and Bart step off into the great void of double entendre!

Spectacular work Bart. I noticed that spotty Beluga on the shelf too - probably the best place for that thing!

Haven't seen any update for awhile, but very interested in where you are with this boat.

I too am looking forward to seeing this project completed. But, all good things take time. Between Bart, Scott, Dave, and myself I think we're in the 'happy times' of new r/c model kit offerings.

Where I left it.....I have been quite busy on the job, I truly had no time left to do anything else.......I took some time off now……..reunited with my V3 this weekend.....don't worry I spare you guys the details.

Been working on the mast support…….now I’m working on the torpedo hatches.

                Grtz,
                Bart

Made a support for all the masts….the most challenging was to get them positioned in the center of their specific hatches.

Milled it......drawn it first to get all the dimensions right.

If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Started preparing all the hatches and gratings in the sail. The gratings will be integrated in the sail for casting all the upper hatches will be casted separate so one could choose to place them in an open or closed position.

Oh good grief. I'd forgotten what a MANIAC you are! Its only when I see that pencil next to the sail that I realize how finely detailed it is. Great work Mate.
