I managed to disassemble the boat, remove the old pump and got the new one ready. But I'm struggling following your directions on how to install the new pump. If you have any pictures of the pump as it sits in your boat that would be helpful. I don't know which direction it is facing etc. Trying to mount it vertically but there's not enough room as it bumps against the board of the servo connectors.

Well, for starters the 3D print warped. Hasn't done that in many months. I wonder whether it's the new PLA? Will try again.

Your instructions are very well done. You could sell your whole package (pump, STL files as print outs and instructions) as an upgrade kit to Neptune users. And make like...ten bucks. :)

Seriously, thanks for all the help.

BTW: We have the same printer and use the same PLA.

Upon further inspection I'm pretty sure now that my pump is not working, zero movement of the bag. So I'll have to disassemble the boat. Daunting.

How do I best open those water/air supply lines for the pump and the bag? Are these white connectors disposable? Should I replace them?

I’d like to share my Neptune Project with other Neptune owners. I purchased the previously owned and dropped Neptune from the Drydocks last March. I haven’t gotten beyond bathtub trimming due to algae blooms in the local lakes and a fear of losing it. The Refurb Log is akin to watching paint dry but some might find

For bags, the fake blood bags are really strong and moulded in one piece.

Not sure if this will fit, but it's a much better unit than the original, and the price is sensible too.

Yea I know about the one Italy, there also one in Germany.I stopped ordering neptunes and seawolfs from over seas, as people in Europe just don't know how to pack a subs and I always need to source a 75mhz radio set and it very hard these days. 900mhz will work for them but it will only let you go about 4 foot down. Most people who buy a Neptune, use them in pools to drive to the bottom so 75 or 72mhz is needed.

As for using different size crystal plugs. I did have a bunch of receivers with tiny 75mhc crystals. I didn't have any more small crystals, so i desoldered the small plugs and added standard plugs so i could use the larger 75mhz crystals.

Also alot didnt come with radios. So they asked me to buy and fix them for them and buy 75mhz radios, as they all wanted to run them in a deep pools. Buying original Neptune electronics is all but impossible. But things can be made to work in a Neptune. to replace the broken parts
