1:96 Scale Skipjack, surface trim good, submerged trim good, however, as I turn or slow down the bow rises causing the sail to to surface, and the boat is no longer level, (bow higher then stern). Using the R&R cylinder and 2.4 Ghz antenna inside a mast above water in submerged trim. Any ideas?

If you're saying that the static trim changes, then there may be some trapped air in the hull. Dynamic changes are another matter, and it's common for a boat to lift its snout on a turn.Comment

This bulkhead may be trapping air.
https://forum.rc-sub.com/forum/builder-threads/153565-3d-printed-skipjack-from-the-nautilus-drydocksI have finished printing The Skipjack. I printed in 1:96 to accomodate my 2.5” Subdriver. I am now installing the mechanics. The Tail assembly is not yet attached as Drive shaft and Control Rods are being routed. 402AC274-6BD3-4940-9A50-296899BFAAC2.jpegDCFE51F7-6BA9-400C-B3B0-A0C99995CB92.jpeg164B7822-C31F-4EDA-9BE2Last edited by redboat219; 05-31-2024, 10:04 AM.Make it simple, make strong, make it work!Comment

Taking care of trapped air is always good.
As stated above, boats will tend to rise in turns.
My R10, with the raised bulbous bow, and low mounted rudders does this, and even my 212 with the X tail.
