No only just found it on Ebay but have checked on Hannants here in blighty.....but not cheap ! certainly not trade but is very new. They also do 1 as the USS Permit.

Company who makes them, Modelsvit seems to be Ukrainian.

I assume the 2" Easy Driver is a slot in for a kit like this. Would the 212 SAS be too big ?

Check out Hobbyterra.com for Modelsvit. List price but free shipping if you meet the minimum. A friend of mine has ordered from them before and recommends them. They state it is a one piece composite hull so don't know if it is a candidate for an R/C sub.

Romel just pointed out that this is a 'composit hull' ... whatever the hell that means???? This might make the kit a show-stopper if its a solide or thick-skinned resin casting.

However, Mr. Caswell has been itching to put his big vacuforming machine to good use -- if the hull is unusable and he can work a purchase of just the appendages from this outfit, and we produce vacuformed hull pieces, we might be able to cobble together a marketable kit.

That's right, Pete: if we can keep the wall thickness on the hull to under 3/32", then a 2" SAS subdriver (the 212 unit is a shoe-in) would fit just fine.

Mike and me need straight answers about that hull though before we start spending his money.
