    Farlan,
Here is a visual of the Mtronics connector that goes to the receiver.

If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

There is a small tab that prevents the wire from being pulled out. So, gently lifting the tab you will be able to pull it out and if done well, if you ever want to return the bec function back you can.

Hi, I am going thru the same trim issues with my Blueback. Any pointers, pictures of styrofoam and weights in the hulls would be appreciatrd. Mine set up as the instructions suggest sinks immediately, (5oz in bow and 5oz just forward of the velcro strap. I have tried maximizing floatation as well.

I don't think there is an easy way to do this. I am out of state for a few weeks, so i can't get any photos to you. Its several hours of trial and error (along with saying alot of bad words :-)).......

50% art, 50% science. You get good at it after a while, able to eyeball where and how much of ballast and foam to add and get it pretty close on the first go-round. Nothing much to do but add, test, add, test, take away, test... rinse and repeat until you're dialed in perfectly.

And don't stop at "good enough". A well-trimmed boat means the difference between fighting with the sub and enjoying every minute of driving it.

Thanks Bob, she sits low in the water, about 3/4” below desired waterline. For some reason she is a heavy boat. Adding 4oz. to the keel and 4oz. to the nose is all I have been able to offset with foam. No where near the reccomended total 10oz reccomended by Dave in the manual. As is she is 85% stable........
