What battery are you using for your bench tests? I have found anythingless than a 7.2v struggles with all the gear running off the rx.
    Cheers,
    Alec.

I'm using 7 channel rx. I have a y-harness in the mix. One arm are goes to the ballest survo and other to the pump. would'nt think that would cause any problem.

Success! I'm sorry I've been away from the keyboard for a while, I've been across the pond for work and dealing with some aweful hours.

I spent some time this afternoon looking at receivers and ADF2 code and I belive I've come up with an acceptable solution that will solve the power up problems seen by your Berg receiver as well as the Corona units that the guys "down under" gravitate to. I've confirmed that the configuration detect sequence works properly with a Berg 4, it ought to behave the same with your Berg 7. Please check your box for a PM.

Need info. On the ballast tank. The vent hole has a flapper under it to close the vent hole. Is it suppost to be attacted to anything or free falling when you move the controls to dive the sub. Mine will not drop down to let the air out.

                    Have a look at these:

The above 2 Articles will put you on the right track but were made before the SAS system was released.

Read the articles and they gave a lot of good info. The flapper in the ballast tank still will not drop down when I try to vent the tank. even put a drop of oil on it and it still did not drop down. Any ideas.

Did you move the two wheel-collars on the ballast sub-system servo pushrod forward a bit?

Yes. Flapper still will not drop down to let the ballast tank vent.

David, some place you did an article on setting up and adjusting the vent valve but I can't seem to locate it?

The flapper must be free enough to drop down on it own accord. Perhaps you have the flapper touching the side of the sub-driver and it's hanging up? If this is not the case then the adjustments are off and if David lets us know where the above article is, you will know exactly how the set up should be done.
